Haskell’s Wine Series dinner at Lela Restaurant in Bloomington will continue in February, featuring Maxville Lake Winery, who is in their inaugural year. A custom five-course meal created by Lela’s Executive Chef Stewart Woodman will complement a flight of four distinct Maxville wines.

The evening begins with Parsnip Bisque with Celery Root and Persillade, paired with a 2015 Maxville Sauvignon Blanc. The second course, Roasted Cod with Moroccan Spices and Carrots, will be joined with a 2014 Maxville Petite Sirah. For the third course, guests will savor Prime Rib with Cassis Sauce and Black Pepper Pomme Puree, and will be paired with a 2014 Maxville Cabernet Sauvignon. For dessert, guests will enjoy Chocolate Mousse with Yuzu, Orange Blossom Sorbet and Pistachio Streusel, paired with a 2014 Maxville Cabernet Franc.
