The Baker's Wife is a musical tale of a rural French town stuck without a baker. When an amiable new baker and his young bride arrive, contentment is restored, but the townspeople must work together after a handsome ladies' man seduces the baker's wife away. The Baker's Wife features a score by Stephen Schwartz, who also wrote music for "Godspell", "Pippin", and "Wicked".
