Meeting planners converge on Bloomington to find out how warm hospitality can take the chill out of planning a meeting during the winter months.

Bloomington, MN – The Bloomington Convention and Visitors Bureau welcomed 30 meeting planners to the City in January for 3 days of showing off the city in winter finery. The elements were perfect and the scenery extraordinary to show off how Bloomington is the perfect destination to plan a meeting in the winter months. This familiarization tour was a huge success, chilly noses and all.

Meeting planners from across the nation enjoyed touring premier meeting hotel facilities, Mall of America® and unique winter activities while here. Thanks to the chilly temperatures and a bevy of incredible facilities offering unique opportunities for the meeting planners to take part in, there was never a lack of things to see and do. Ice Castles Mall of America, International Nordic Ski Jumping Competition and Ice Games on Lake Minnetonka kept the pace lively throughout the week.
