The Minneapolis Fringe Festival is an 11-day extravaganza of performing art shows at various venues throughout Minneapolis and St. Paul, Minnesota. Almost 1,000 shows are performed each year at the Minnesota Fringe Festival, from comedy skits to dances and plays. Groups apply to participate in Fringe Festival in Minneapolis and are chosen by lottery almost a year in advance!

During the 2010 festival, more than 50,000 tickets were issued to 169 shows. And each year gets bigger and better. The Minnesota Fringe Festival shows are about 60 minutes or less, and there’s a 30-minute break between shows. The Fringe Festival in Minneapolis is entertaining, fun and perfect for the whole family.
