Fort Snelling State Park has almost 3,000 acres where you can take advantage of the great outdoors! Enjoy hiking, biking, fishing, canoeing and swimming during the summer months or skiing and sledding in the winter. You also can enjoy a nine-hole golf course, picnic areas, exhibits, bird watching and more.

Fort Snelling Minnesota, a 19th century military outpost, also features trails that connect the park to Minnehaha Park and the Minnesota Valley National Refuge.
