One of Bloomington’s most beloved hotels takes off early summer following its transformation into the new Crowne Plaza Aire. The redesign is based on an aviation theme and a long history during which The Crowne Plaza Aire has been a part of Minneapolis St. Paul Airport’s life for over 3 decades. The hotel continues to serve travelers and welcome airline crews as part of its deeply-rooted connection with Minnesota air transportation.
The 430 refurbished guest rooms and suites offer exciting runway views of the bustling Minneapolis St. Paul International Airport. Free guest shuttles are available between the airport and the hotel and to the nearby Mall of America®, home to over 520 shops, Nickelodeon Universe® and SEA LIFE® Minnesota Aquarium. The Light Rail station is across the street, making it a breeze to reach to downtown Minneapolis, TCF Bank Stadium, Target Field and St. Paul Saints CHS Field. 
Crowne Plaza Aire Guest Room
Aviation-inspired art installations will hang in the new public areas featuring sculptures and glass works by Minnesota artists and rotating exhibitions. A wood burning oven is the focal point of the new restaurant, offering a menu of pizzas, salads and other dishes based on fresh, locally sourced ingredients. A 1,500 square foot fitness center is outfitted with state-of-the-art Precor equipment, and there is an indoor salt water Junior Olympic swimming pool. All rooms have complimentary in-room Wi-Fi and feature the Crowne Plaza Sleep Advantage Program, with upgraded bed linens, a “This Works” aromatherapy kit and a “Dedicated Quiet Zone” policy from Sunday to Thursday to ensure that staff noise is kept to a minimum in the hotel’s hallways.
