Element Bloomington Mall of America

My stay at element hotel in Bloomington Minnesota was pure perfection. When my family and I checked in on day one, we were greeted with lemonade, apples, tea, and fruit infused water. The staff welcomed us with smiles, and kept those smiles throughout our four day stay. The room was clean, smelled AMAZING- and had many excellent features to make our stay more hospitable! Along with fresh bedding for each bed, our room also had conditioning shampoo, body wash, two bars of soap, makeup wipes, and a blow dryer.
The complimentary breakfast served every morning was well beyond my expectations. The breakfast was fresh and delicious with employees restocking empty serving platters. This was by far the best hotel breakfast I’ve ever tasted, and was a huge hit for my family. Offered from around 7-9:30pm were cookies and tea- which was probably my favorite part of my stay. It was so nice to get to relax with hot tea and cookies at the end of a long day.
Another thing that my family really enjoyed was the pool and hot tub. My family got a lot of use out of the pool- and was a great chill down activity after a long day of shopping at the Mall Of America! The Mall of America is within walking distance from the hotel, so if you are looking for a place to stay while visiting the mall, I 1000% recommend the Element hotel in Bloomington MN!

This hotel represents itself as upscale, when it in reality is just average. Rooms were generic. Bed was tolerable – but I have definitely slept on better. Service was good, and the room was clean except the ceiling had numerous sticky balls on it. Obviously housekeeping doesn’t look up. |I would have given it a rating of four except:|1. They don’t tell you up front that they will charge you $12 per day to park there. This isn’t in the city, where I would expect to pay for parking. Just seems like a way to charge more for the room. |2. The rooms are not quiet in the least. I got to listen to my neighbor’s loud tv all night. The HVAC is also insanely loud.||The rate they charged was within a few dollars of what Radisson Blu was charging. I should have gone there.

Absolutely amazing hotel. Stayed there for my kiddos birthday and made a request to have them just leave a note saying happy birthday. They actually wrote a very sweet message in a birthday card and gave us a complimentary basket of snacks in our room too. My kiddo thought it was so cool. Very clean and the breakfast the next morning was very yummy too.

Beautiful hotel, pool cold though. Breakfast was great with gluten free options and yogurt bar. Teas and snacks served in evening. Rooms are spacious with updated decor and bathrooms. So close to mall you could walk right across. Service was great as well. Knowledgeable and polite attendees. Apart from the weirdo that walked into our room (he looked lost) but we also had the three bedroom corner suite with doors open as we were leaving. Great choice for hotel.

We really liked this hotel, it was super clean, and such an easy walk to MOA! The rooms are decent sized, yet on the smaller side if that makes any sense to you. If you need the pull-out couch, you will take up a lot of your room! We only had one suitcase, had we have had more we’d really have been crowded. There’s a nice kitchenette area, well stocked. We didn’t have any bodywash in our bathroom, but not the end of the world, it was easily refilled with an ask! We stayed two nights – the first night they didn’t have an evening reception, so I’m unsure if it was the staff working or just not done on Sundays. But Monday they had olives, cheese, and seltzer water. Then a bit later they had teas and cookies. It was such a nice setup! The pool is kind of small, the hot tub wasn’t “hot” and the pool was very cold. We had to ask for towels night two, but it was spring break so the hotel was fairly busy with families. Breakfast was just ok. For the price, I really expected more. The first morning we were there within an hour of it opening, it wasn’t super busy- we had plenty of seating, but the only thing they had to offer that wasn’t carby/sugary was egg bites. No meats. They had yogurt, but it was almost gone, and the toppings were all either dried fruits/granola. They had waffles, but you had to toast them. And the pastries listed were not what was available, it ended up being plain croissants, despite it being listed as flavored pastries. The second day we had sausage available with the egg bites, which was a welcome update. But that would likely be my biggest complaint, is that the breakfast didn’t have nearly the options of most. BUT, with that said, the hotel was nice, and clean, and parking was ample. The beds were comfy, but be warned if you don’t like airplane noise, do NOT stay here.

This place was amazing! So quiet and so clean! The continental breakfast was so wonderful! A decent variety and it was delicious. Only thing was the bathrooms have automatic lights. When I was in the shower the light shut off twice and I had to kick my foot out to motion the light to come back on. Besides that it was a great stay!

I coordinated a large group to stay here for work, but I didn’t actually stay since I’m local. They were great to work with for reserving the block of rooms and our team had the rooms were nice. We did some team hanging out on the patio each night after our trainings. No bar, so BYOB
