The ‘Fly Over America’ is a Definite must see. You get to really feel the ‘flight’ in motion. It puts you right there, in every location.
Very cool experience – unfortunately, you risk getting sat next to a family of young children who scream through the entire experience. It’s like Soarin at Disney World; the experience isn’t worth $23/person when you risk listening to a kid yell “LOOK AT MY SHOES!” for ten minutes.
Edit; their online customer service is pretty great. Gave us a ticket to try it out again.
Great ride. Got the America + Africa combo and enjoyed both. The America version almost reminded me of an updated version of Soarin by Disney. The Africa one I also thought was great and gave views on unique scenery with some fun creative use of the ride technology.
Hugely love this place. The ride is super cool. Never had any troubles. This was our second time for my son and I in a span of 3 years. It definitely is a must if you’re going to MOA. Definitely recommend. And my son and I would go again. Loved it! Pretty neat!
First of all, this is a ride system just like Soarin’ in the Disney parks, so it feels like a Disney-level ride experience (almost.) And I am surprised at how emotional I got on this ride! It’s really just beautiful scenery, but with the music, I was almost tearing up by the end. Speaking of moisture – you get sprayed full in the face a few times – they’re a little heavy-handed with the misters, so you may get wet!
I did this as an add-on to Nickelodeon Universe, which made it only ~$8. Otherwise, it’s around $20 just for this. I’m not saying it’s worth it, but I’m glad I bundled it.
Incredible experience. Totally worth it. It covers many states and regions of america ranging from mountains to plains to sea to snow. Would do it again.
My family went to see the flight to the North Pole 2023. We all really enjoyed the experience from the beginning to the end. We all felt like we were all flying together with the wind blowing in our faces and really enjoyed the scents of Mrs Clauses cookies throughout the North Pole. I think this was the shortest wait time in the Nickelodeon universe during the week between Christmas and New Year’s. Best bang for your buck when lines are too long out there in MOA for family fun! Capacity is 48 people and the line moves through stages like at universal studios Florida with scenes of anticipation building up the experience to an amazing climax.
We had CBD gummies beforehand (highly recommend 😂), which made it feel even more like we were truly flying! The wait time was surprisingly short, especially considering it was the holiday season, and the mall was packed.
If you have visitors from out of town, this is a must-do! It was the highlight of our day at MOA. Through January 2, 2025, FlyOver America transforms into a magical winter wonderland for the holiday season. Guests get to help Santa search for his missing elves during an exhilarating flight across America and onto the North Pole. This festive experience takes your holiday traditions to new heights!
Holiday visitors will sit in a suspended chair, feet dangling, in front of a massive, four-story spherical screen. Special effects like wind, mist, and scents, combined with the chair’s motion, make it feel like you’re soaring alongside Santa. It was truly magical!
If you’re visiting Minnesota, FlyOver America should definitely be on your must-do list. The attraction is easy to find, simple to navigate, and worth every penny. Our ride lasted 20 minutes and was worth every second. Highly recommend for fabulous entertainment!
Great gift date night idea! Pair it with going to eat at Cedar and Stone for a delicious meal and cocktails!!
They also rent it out for business events team building and employee appreciation days! 5 stars!
