2D Con 2026 takes place August 21–23, 2026, at the DoubleTree by Hilton Bloomington – Minneapolis South. Now in its second decade, 2D Con is one of the Twin Cities’ longest-running gaming conventions. It is hosted entirely in Bloomington, making it one of the few major gaming events in the region where your hotel and the event are in the same building.
2D Con covers the full spectrum of gaming culture. Attendees can expect arcade and console gaming, PC LAN play, tabletop games, tournaments, cosplay, indie game showcases, live music, panels, and vendor halls.
