I may be a little biat and sentimental on this one. My mother is 81, and this is her go-to place. I just take her to a different Perkins location whenever I can take her out. She loves pancakes and burgers. The most important part is that she is comfortable. Everything I take her somewhere else we have to leave because of the air-conditioning. She gets so cold at other places, and we end up ordering our food to go. She always says she enjoyed her day and really felt like a person. I myself enjoy the food as well. The only thing I would recommend is that Perkins makes it easier for the doors to open and get through for those in wheelchairs. In one location in Brooklyn Park, the handicapped parking was quite a bit of a distance away, and the ramp was steep and long for those who have to push. Other than that, the waiter/waitresses have all been patient and kind. I do recommend Perkins.
I’ve been bringing my 94-year-old father here for breakfast every week for the past 3 years. This is an outing he really looks forward to. Natasha, the hostess, and Laura, the server who takes care of us, makes our breakfast time really special. They are kind and attentive- we get the VIP treatment every week! The food is hot and delicious and the service makes us feel like we are rock stars!…it makes me happy that my dad is so happy when we are having breakfast there…thank you Laura and Natasha!!!
My cousin and I ate their on Saturday. There was a bit of a wait to be seated because they were extremely. However, after 10-15 minutes, we were seated. The staff and waitress wad the best. Our food was great. Very pleased with this restaurant. We’re going back again soon.
He came here to this Perkins on a whim, never been to this location before. Walked right in, they sat as right away. I actually found a coupon in my email, and got it approved by the manager before we ordered, they were very kind about that. I ordered off of their new strawberry menu, this croissant strawberry French toast with Bavarian cream and whipped topping, and it was so stinking awesome! It’s great if you’re not into really sweet things! It also came with two pieces of bacon and some eggs. I would definitely order that again I needed no syrup on top of that because it came with strawberries. I’m actually thinking about it right now as I write this review several days later. My husband got whatever is in the pictures that I attached, I think it’s like pancakes eggs and bacon. That’s like his usual standby. Oh and because we had a coupon, we treated ourselves and had a slice of French silk pie, and that was also DIVINE, classic Perkins French silk pie is the best pie out there! I believe our waitresses name was Cece, and she took excellent care of us! We tipped on the total, not on the amount that was deduced from the coupon, so don’t forget to do that if you have a coupon too!
Took the 4 grandkids here for breakfast, knowing they all want something different. I was skeptical going in, because of long ago experiences in other cities. But this trip it was excellent! Our waiter took everyone’s order without writing it down, yet everyone got exactly what they ordered, and everything delivered at once and freshly made. Absolutely impressed that everyone ate everything, no complaints or additional items needed.
I think we brought the average age down by 10 years, because everyone looked to be past retirement age, and the general vibe was kind of 1990, but that just makes it vintage, right?
I highly recommend this Perkins for breakfast!
