Great place! Easy booking site. Park on level 5 New York and walk right in. 2 item min inside so beware anything purchased at the bar doesn’t count. Great food options with vegan and gluten friendly items. Friendly staff and awesome comedians. Love having this place at the Mall. Great place to take a date or go with friends! Will be back.
First time here. Derrick Stroup was great ! The first guy Aiden, I did not care for. He admitted he was high, had awful language and very inappropriate material to open for someone clean like Derrick. The second guy Matt was fair but still talked about inappropriate stuff that did not fit the set in my opinion. I actually liked the Bible /Christian jokes but I understand they are trying to reach the whole audience.
Like others have said the water policy needs to change. Ridiculous to spend over $100 and not be given a glass of water, you have to pay for it. (!) That put a big damper on the night. Dumb policy. The food was good. If I ever went again I would probably sneak in my own water bottle lol. But I don’t think I’ll be back considering how expensive the evening was and not knowing what we’ll get with the opening acts.
I almost felt sorry for Stroup, they didn’t even spell his name correctly on the video screen!
I wish I could separate my review for food and the night as a whole. We purchased the dinner and a show package.
There were three different times listed to arrive, we called on the way. We made it with one minute to spare. The doors were shut. I thought we were too late. Nope, we were the first ones there.
Between the two meals, I don’t think we even ate a quarter of one of the meals.
I was going to try a bite of the potato wedge, but after seeing the oil puddle it was bathing in, I didn’t want to disturb it, and let it be.
My husband’s steak had enough salt for the whole cow.
I’m not sure what happened with the chicken, but the cream sauce helped my husband mute out the salty steak and he was able to make a few bites palatable.
I would come early and eat somewhere else in the mall and then check out a show.
I did enjoy the Loon drinks. That was a fun find.
The comics were enjoyable. I felt a little bad for them. They all said multiple times that their material wasn’t for this audience. I thought it was all hilarious, but I am not easily offended.
I would suggest looking the headliner up before you go. I read a couple of reviews complaining about foul language. Be smarter, know what you sign up for.
Mike Lester was the middle act, he was hilarious!

Stumbled upon this place when visiting Mall of America. Luckily we found it 10 mins before the early show, 7pm, so we decided to check it out. 3 comedians, headliner was very funny, appreciated he didn’t use profanity, just super funny life jokes! Got Flatbread meat pizza which was plenty to share for 2.
Fun venue. Pictures and videos are not allowed but snuck a photo before and after the show. Loved Trish Cooks Big Auntie Energy Show. Of course everyone loved Rachel. Very fun evening
Seems it would be simple enough to clearly note arrival information on the tickets or email confirmation. Seems it would be even easier to have 2 lines form for the second show: One for VIP and one for non-VIP. The reality? A mob of people crowding into the full bar/entrance standing around or jockeying for access. Staff members shouting from the double doors for VIP to make their way through the crowd. Non VIP didn’t hear, of course, and just started moving ahead so those already in line get pushed to the back.
A stupid way to start a night. Thankfully the show was great but as the people sitting at the table with us said, “That entry process gives us something to batch about while we wait for our drinks!”
It was my first time at a comedy club. Our group had a buffet style dinner inside first, food was very good. Four comedians total, including the host. Seemed like a lot of people given it was a Wednesday evening. The only crash and burn was someone I believe they referred to as new guy. It’s like they grabbed someone from the mall and said “come on in and get on stage”. The other comedians were good not great but remember this is a comedy club in the mall of america. I would like to go back and bring some friends on a weekend and check it out.
