a friend and i took my 4 year old to crayola experience and we had the BEST TIME. we kept referring to it as an “art party” before we went. i had thought we’d need maybe an hour at most to try everything but we were here 3+ hours plus another 45 min in the crayola shop finding cool stuff to buy to take for our cabin trip up north. my son could have easily spent at least another hour here enjoying the wide variety of experiences but we were hungry and left to get dinner. he asked to come back tomorrow! at many zones here, he happily spent at least 30 min immersed in the activities. most workers were very friendly and helpful. art stations were well maintained with materials available, nothing was empty/dirty/broken as far as markers, crayons, colored pencils, etc. i would highly recommend this place and can’t wait to take my son back. we’re really looking forward to using our haul from the store! we did the add-on sealife experience and next time would just spend all our time at the crayola experience. the workers encouraged us to enjoy everything too! we had a great time coloring, crafting, and painting the day away.
This place was well worth every penny. The staff was great and the activities as well as the playground and many interactive stations. Plenty of hands on art work and creative activities to participate in. My 13,10 n 2 yr old all enjoyed it and it was a great activity for those of us that made a vacation out of a 5 day 4 night stay and attended the great events at the Mall of America which was well worth it. Great visit Minnesota 👍🏼
They have all of the colors you could ever think of. A full wall of every color in crayons and in markers. Clothes, coloring books, tattoos for kids, bath stuff and so much more. Definitely worth taking a look
We had a lot of fun. I would say only do this with kids 5 and up to get the best experience. We went on a Wednesday and had a lot of fun and were able to experience everything with little to no wait. I would not recommend going on a weekend or holiday. We did the birthday special which was way more than I expected to receive as a gift! Our 5 year old niece had a blast. The only reasons I am giving this 4 stars is because when we did some of the activities we had to kind of wing it because the employees didn’t explain the process and the screens were broken. Also a few of the main attractions were closed but we didn’t really mind that because there was so much more to do.
Bringing back all the childhood memories of color and unique crayola names! The best. Visited the store and the interactive Crayola Experience- you need to pay for entry here , not the store.
This was suuuuper fun and took us much longer than I thought it would! There are soooo many activities you can do and take home! Prepare to spend more than 2 hours here, we rushed at the end to see everything because I didn’t know and had lunch reservations. We got there early and even though there were a bunch of people waiting to get in, it wasn’t crowded inside which was surprising!
Took my 5&7 year old here. They have coloring and painting stations, some neat digital art things, drip art and melt and mold stations, indoor playground, coloring stuff, very rudimentary clay station, scribble scrubby thing. Many things that can easily be done at home too. At 29.99 per person and having to pay adult admission even though it is a lot of work for adults than fun for adults. I used mall of America points to come so we had a nice time and I didn’t pay cash. But I can’t say I would pay 99$ for me and my 2 kids to come. We did have fun however. Spent about 1.5 hours here. Probably best suited for 3-8 year old kids.
