Paisley Park

It was fun to visit and of course there are many relics to enjoy. You have to turn your phone off and lock them until the last room of the tour.

They didn’t tell ANYTHING about Prince. Like nothing. Disappointed in that. A few movies that shared tid bits, but nothing you can’t find on Google or whatever.

It cost $75 for a 90 minute tour. The guy at the gate was amazing. Tour guide over the top but…..upbeat for sure.

Chance to buy a drink at the end and a little gift shop.

This was definitely worth the wait. We thoroughly enjoyed this tour. Our tour guide Jess was awesome!! If you are or ever was a Prince fan, Paisley Park is definitely a bucket list item for you.

Pricey, but somehow worth it. There are three experiences available ranging from $75 ($87 with fees) to $199+ fees. The people who work here are also fans who are dedicated to Prince’s memory. No outside food or beverages are allowed. There is a cafe with a limited menu and beverages for sale at the end of the strictly run tour.
The tour moves through time, achievements, and personal spaces of Prince. There are lots of artifacts, photos, and videos from his entire life. You get a good sense of the scope of the visionary artist and performer Prince was. Photography is only allowed in designated areas. Phones and other recording devices are surrendered and locked until the specified parts of the tour. This is in part to protect the artifacts and to keep the tour on schedule. The tour guides are incredible. The time zips by, and then you’re in a pretty standard gift shop.
There’s lots of free parking. The compound is accessible by car, rideshares, and less so on mass transit.

Loved the museum and The Ultimate Experience Tour! I can’t even describe how amazing it was to be in Paisley Park! Our tour guide was Jess and she only works on Fridays. If you go, I hope you get her as a guide. The amount of knowledge she has about Prince is astounding. I came away with so much more love and respect for his music because of the wonderful experience I had on the tour. I will definitely come back!

I’ve been wanting to go to Paisley Park for a while now. We ended up buying tickets online . Tour guide was awesome very knowledgeable. And then my now fiance proposed to me In one of Prince’s studio. What awesome place. I recommend going .I learned a lot.

Tommy was THE BEST tour guide! So enthusiastic about Prince and EVERYTHING he stood for!! Must try the cheesecake!! So glad I finally went!!

Gave me chills being in the same room as my music spirit person. I wish we could tour freely but they won’t let you lol. Won’t let you take your phone except til the end so…

I was excited about my Paisley Park tour because I hoped to learn more about Prince, someone that I didn’t follow while growing up, but someone I wanted to learn more about since I live in Minnesota.

The tour was pretty underwhelming, with a stiff and not very expressive tour guide. Our tour felt super curated, not very flexible, and lost my interest quickly. “Stand here and observe this area, now move over here and observe this area, now you have 2 minutes to look around this area until we move on, etc.”

The tour are focused on a few of Prince’s albums and his musical legacy. My favorite part of the tour was seeing his studio and hearing the demo of the different instruments on some of his musical tracks. I really would have liked to have learned more about his life outside of his music, such as his life growing up, how he lived at Paisley Park, and how he passed away.

This tour was $85 after taxes and fees, which seems too high. In its current form I would not recommend the basic tour to other folks visiting the area.
