Springhill Suites Minneapolis St. Paul Airport / Mall of America

This hotel had very friendly staff and was clean, with spacious rooms. The only cons were the pool is extremely small, and the breakfast could have offered more options. As someone who doesn’t eat red meat or dairy products, I found that the breakfast didn’t cater to those with dietary restrictions. I have stayed at hotels that provide turkey or non-dairy options upon request.

On a positive note, everyone at the front desk was amazing. Our TV was defective upon arrival, and when we contacted the front desk, they fixed it immediately.

I would definitely stay here again in the future. The hotel has great amenities for travelers; it is conveniently located near the airport and the Mall of America, and it provides shuttles for both. We came for the state fair and were given a shuttle to the bus that took us to the fairgrounds, which was nice. I also appreciated that they had a bar open until 11 PM, which is perfect for socializing without having to leave the hotel.

I will certainly recommend this hotel to friends and family.

Recently stayed at this hotel after a week long stay in Minn/St. Paul. Good, friendly shuttle service from the car rental, to the hotel and back to the airport. This hotel is very close to the airport, and right at the end of the runway, where you can sit outside and watch the planes take off right in front of you! I enjoyed watching that!
The staff was very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was good, and there was also a bar.
The room was large and clean, the beds were comfortable, but there was not enough lighting in the room. My room definitely needed at least two more lamps. It was the darkest room I’ve ever stayed in. Lots of hotels in that area. Please get better lighting in your rooms. Guests appreciate good lighting, or they may choose another hotel in the future. For the most part, it was a good place to stay.

The guy who checked us in was incredibly helpful and informative. I can’t remember his name, but he said he was from the UK. He was very friendly and answered all of our questions. The rooms were OK-comfortable and clean, but nothing special. Our air conditioner was pretty loud at times, but we were able to deal with it. The shower doors only opened on one side, and it was not the side with the faucet, so we had to get all the way in and turn the freezing water on, instead of awaiting for it to warm before getting in. We got 4 king suites for 7 people and they were able to get us all on the same floor, which was nice. Breakfast was OK- eggs sausage, bagels and toast, a waffle maker, etc- the usual included breakfast items. Very good, strong coffee. But nothing super special. It helped with our busy schedule so we were all grateful for that. The hotel is right at the end of a runway by the airport so we expected it to be a lot louder, but the rooms were surprisingly quiet. None of us were awakened by planes taking off or landing. It was fun to watch the planes coming in and out. It’s close to the mall of america and the blue line, so we didn’t have any trouble getting around. The parking lot is the only thing we didn’t like. The lot itself is fine, but finding the entrance when coming in from American Blvd was a nightmare. It shares lot space with another hotel and the entrance isn’t clearly marked or well-lit and everybody, including other guests kept missing it and causing traffic jams. There’s also a major pothole right inside the entrance and on our last day another guest hit it and damaged her tire. You’ll want to take the other entrance next to the interstate until they get that take care of. Overall, it was a good place to stay. Nothing spectacular, but clean and comfy, with helpful employees.

Moe was welcoming at the front counter, and he got one of our two couples checked in. The second room wasn’t ready so he found us on the patio with the key, as promised, when the room became available. After dinner when we got back to the hotel he and Tiffany greeted us with smiles and made us feel at home. Thanks for your outstanding customer service!! We appreciate you!

Wowza what a great stay! Beds were comfortable and bedding luxurious. Rooms had been tastefully updated, modern, and had all the right conveniences. The staff was top notch and super attentive. We enjoyed a great breakfast and the dining area had plenty of seating. A few negatives: the parking was narrow and while there was a pool was extremely small, so if that would impact your decision, I wanted to mention it, but it did not impact ours. We would absolutely stay with this hotel again!!

All around a great experience other than the rooms could have been abit cleaner. There were a couple of hairs and crumbs in the fridge. A little bit dirty in the bathroom but otherwise a good experience. The service at the front desk was excellent! Kind and friendly man. It was a good stay overall. Breakfast was abit scarce but there was some good cereal to grab. It’s a good location as far as being right by the big mall.

Excellent location for us as we were flying out in the morning. A friendly and efficient staff made our evening quite pleasant. The rooms are good sized and well organized, clean and comfortable. We had a very good breakfast, and a convenient shuttle to the airport.

We had an excellent stay at the Springhill Suites, converted located near the MSP airport and Mall of America. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Moe at the front desk was particularly helpful at check in. The park and fly option there is a great deal.
