We really enjoyed our second stay at Home2 Suites in Bloomington. The location, suites, and kitchen are extremely beneficial.

That being said, we were disappointed with two things. On the weekend, a guest was throwing a children’s birthday party and was holding the pool/spa door open for at least 10 children plus their parents/guardians to enter. It was PACKED. I don’t know if it’s allowed or not, but it’s frustrating when as paying guests, we’re not able to access hotel facilities because of non-guests.

Additionally, there’s a parking charge added. We were here in October and didn’t have to pay extra for parking (or they didn’t bill us…) but this stay it was an additional $10 per night. When walking through the parking garage, it seemed inconsistently applied as many vehicles didn’t have the parking pass visible.

Finally: we were there for 7 nights – some variety in the breakfast offerings would go a long way. Seeing chicken strips every morning was a bit tiresome.

Small inconveniences, but otherwise a nice stay and we will return.

The staff was amazing. They went above and beyond to make our stay welcoming. Helped with getting our kids to and from the airport easier. Always welcomed us with our coming and goings. 100% recommend this place, we will be staying with them again. |Also close to MOA, for quick shopping and good food

I am happy to write a review for the excellent service I received during my stay the past couple of days.||Kendall and Cora from the front desk were exceptional in that they provided above and beyond service and were also the most friendly and helpful to me. It’s not common to have this type of service and I want to make sure they get the recognition they deserve. This hotel was clean. The customer service reps at the checkout counter were very nice and helpful. They suggested activities to my sister who was staying there longer. The location was easy to find using my navigation system as I was coming from out of state. The grocery store across from the hotel was well stocked and fresh items look good. Nothing molded, old. I didn’t use the gym or pool, but visually speaking it was clean. Keyboards to access. Continental breakfast was plentiful, tasty and many options. Coffee and tea always available. I would recommend.

The hotel was OK for a 2- night stay. The room was a bit dingy, with discoloration on the sofa cushions, and the dishwasher had a terrible odor when we opened the door. Other than that, in room kitchen was well equipped, and a nice convenience. The laundry room and gym were conveniently located and much appreciated. Breakfast was fair at best. If we stayed again we would not do breakfast there Even though it was free.

Brenda at the desk has been AMAZING. The beds are comfortable(fat girl here), the rooms are spacious, service is spot on. I will definitely stay here again. I love this hotel! I don’t take leaving reviews for hotels like this lightly. I say sincerely, stay here. Bring your family. You will NOT be disappointed. Only negative- water pressure in the shower 😂

Stayed here as it was super convenient for a meeting I was having in the area. Check in was smooth, easy, polite and courteous. Within a minute, I was walking to my room on the second floor. My stay was only brief, for one night with a later check in and early check out, but the room was comfortable, clean and very well equipped. The room contained everything you would expect from a suite, and everything was in good order. The shower and water pressure was good. The bed was very comfortable and I had a good night’s sleep. The free breakfast in the morning was a nice touch, albeit it had a fairly limited selection. I didn’t use the fitness facilities, but there was also a small pool and gym on the ground floor. Overall, it was a clean, comfortable and pleasant stay. I felt safe throughout, and the local area has a variety of shops, coffee shops and restaurants within easy walking distance. I would stay here again when my travel schedule requires it.

The woman at the front desk i believe her name is Brenda has does an amazing job with getting me or my family checked in. Her upbeat attitude along with caring for our needs makes us continue coming back. The rooms could be a bit more maintained by the clean up crew but they are alright. It’s right by the mall so food and shopping even just around the hotel gives great options. The fitness room & pool is good for anyone’s family & friends and there’s free underground parking accessible from inside the hotel for those cold days. They even have cookies, hot chocolate, coffee & a decent breakfast to go with it so thanks to Brenda and the rest of the staff.
