Homewood Suites by Hilton Minneapolis / Mall of America

From the moment I arrived, I felt genuinely welcomed. The staff was incredibly helpful, always available to assist with a smile, and consistently went out of their way to make guests feel at home. From warm greetings in the lobby to helpful recommendations about local attractions and dining, it was clear that hospitality is a priority here. It was refreshing to see a team that truly enjoys their work and takes pride in making guests feel comfortable.

My family especially enjoyed the pool, the delicious breakfast, and the fresh coffee available throughout the day. The amenities were clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully set up for convenience and relaxation. The location is also ideal—close to everything we needed, yet peaceful and quiet at night.

I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area—not just for the great location and amenities, but because the staff creates such a positive and welcoming atmosphere. We’re already looking forward to our next stay!

The staff here was great. The hotel is okay. It’s a typical Hilton brand, where you know what to expect in the rooms, and they deliver consistency- clean rooms, decent beds, clean bathrooms. The consistency is why I choose most Hilton brands. ||The location is pretty good for MoA. The price makes it better than the Rad Blu in my opinion. ||The thing that puts this location over the top was the people. I wish I could remember their names, but they’re friendly and make you feel good. The wonderful staff is why I’d come back. They wen’t out of their way to make sure we were happy.

Great location right next to Mall of America. Room was clean, breakfast is free and is pretty good. Only downside was the layout of the floors. There seems to only be one elevator and we had to walk through what felt like a labyrinth of hallways to our room all the way at the other side of the building. But besides that everything else was great!

The moment we walked in we felt welcomed. The staff here is amazing and the general manager made sure all of the guests had what they needed including helping with breakfast items. I would definitely come back. Great service, great location and Hilary the general manger makes you feel like a special guest!

The stay was great. Room was awesome. Location and On-site staff was great. Breakfast was also good. I noticed the day after we left that my glasses were not in my bag. When I called the hotel and spoke to the person at the front desk they refused to let me report my lost item or let me speak to someone in housekeeping. Instead, they sent me to a generic website to submit a report. It was very impersonal and I’ve received zero updates. It feels like they just wanted to get rid of me.

As a frequent homewood guest, I was pleased overall with this location though there were a couple of concerns. I had some small procedure complications due to using a “be my guest certificate” provided by corporate. After some back and forth with corporate, there was a polite attendant by the name of Roda who helped me get my reservation cleared up and made sure my check’in experience would be seamless. Upon my arrival, it was just that and the staff on duty were excellent. Upon checkout, I brought up a concern to pass to housekeeping and they handled it. The only issue I would ask the hotel to address is to be more stern about non guests coming into the hotel for public restroom use and to also install security cameras in more parking area views as the adjacent neighborhood has some not so kosher citizens. The room was very clean and everything in it was in order, the floor was quiet even though it was a Saturday night, the staff were polite, helpful and welcoming. The value was spot on and the breakfast was wonderful. Right across the street from MOA, we could literally walk there.

This hotel served its purpose. I wouldnt stay again. I booked due to its close proximity to Mall of America and it can sleep 6.||One of our rooms was larger than the other 2. Had we just had the first room given we would NOT be able to fit 6 in there. ||That being said, this hotel is dated and run down. Was not the cleanest room I have ever stayed in. Breakfast was sufficient but nothing great. ||Sleeping 6…. that was 2 adults and 4 kids. If our kids were older or we had more adults it is a hard NO. They were double beds, which I dumbly didnt think about so putting kids in with you is rough. The pull out sofa was horrible, as most are. Our youngest 2 slept there, anyone over 10 would not have been able to sleep comfrtable.||Beds were hard. Surfaces either showed water spots or was not clean. Stains on kitchen island chairs, glasses with chips/broken. ||Ceiling fan was a nice touch. ||Pool decent temp but was foggy, we only swam once it made me itch. ||Mall of America was a close walk, 5 minutes to center of mall, nice bridge going over road just a property down. ||Most staff pleasant. Only had issues at check in with being rushed and hard to understand.

Rhoda was awesome. So helpful and just a happy, helpful soul that made ya feel at home and safe. When we go back to the Mall of America we will stay here again for sure. Great breakfast, clean pool, nice outside patio, walking distance to the mall restaurants close by to walk to also. Check out Minnehaha falls if you need a change of scenery.
