We just enjoyed a five day stay here. The room was exceptionally clean, and housekeeping was great! You do have to request daily service before 10am, but they do a great job. The beds were decent, the pillows were really good, and the room stayed at a nice temperature. The breakfast was delicious! I love their little pancake machine! The coffee was hot and fresh every morning with a variety of additions/creamer flavors. The staff were mostly nice and welcoming. Check-in was a breeze. They don’t accept cash for anything. They do charge for parking ($10 per day). And the room had a musty smell every time we came back after being out for the day, and one of the soap/shampoo dispensers was broken. Otherwise, it was a really great stay!
We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Bloomington recently. It was on the cheaper side, and honestly, that showed.
The free breakfast was a plus
..hot, decent variety, and one of the better parts of the stay. Staff were nice and check-in was smooth.
The room felt outdated and not very comfortable. Not awful, but definitely not impressive. My wife booked it because it was cheap, and I get it…but you get what you pay for.
If you’re looking to save money and just need a basic place to sleep, it’ll do. Just don’t expect anything fancy
We were surprised that the airport shuttle turned out to be an Uber ride, which was quicker and more comfortable. Staff was very friendly. The room was clean, but neither of the TVs (smart TVs) were connected to anything, the light in the bathroom flickered and the hideaway couch was pretty worn out. Bed was fine. Breakfast was good, but some of the hot items had not been replenished and never were. There was no batter for the two pancake machines. Plenty of cinnamon rolls, which were tasty, coffee was good. We’d probably stay there again for a night before or after a flight.
This hotel has a great location near I-494 and close to shopping areas like Mall of America and Southdale. The staff was welcoming and helpful. Rooms were clean, comfortable, and quite large. We enjoyed the breakfast with some different options every day. We will stay there again next time we are in the area.
This was a great stay, needs some minor touch ups, but Breakfast was great and free every day. They have a great selection of items from Eggs, sausage, bacon, and biscuits and gravy. Also pancakes, cinnamon rolls and bagels with cream cheese and many toppings for your pancakes or bagels. Excellent breakfast and staff. Weight room, indoor pool and great cleaning staff. I believe it was WELL worth the cost. I am an IHG member and parking was free otherwise it’s $10 a night. Great job Holiday Inn 👍🏼

This location was VERY nice & 98% of staff was GREAT. 1 gentleman was a but short with me at our check-out (3 am). Only issue is with how hot the living area was in the suite. Whomever designed a fan above a door to blow cool air from bedroom, wasn’t the brightest bulb on the box. We got the sleeping area to about 65°, BUT living area stayed at least 20° hotter. Uncomfortable to say the least.

Positive: Location. Safe. Negative: The room needed a good cleaning. The carpet had sticky spots. I have stayed at this motel probably 30 times in the last 10 years. This might have been my last time. They need to invest in the property.
