First off, the first responder appreciation is an incredible idea and I thank you for that. I first interacted with a very pleasant lady who helped us get our tickets. She was delightful and pationate about Sea life, asking us to say “hi” to the sea horses for her, so we did 🤗. We had a very enjoyable venture through the aquarium and the kids had a blast. We got lots of pictures and have some great memories to look back on. Thank you all!
Went here because I THOUGHT they would allow you to touch a stingray (touched them & fed them at the Denver CO Aquarium). FYI nope, not here! Do NOT pay to do the “behind the scenes” NOT worth it! Cute yet boring. You can see the sea life in their tunnel just as good as behind the scenes. The best thing there was the VR, worth that price! Also the photo NOT worth the $! As they want another $35 or so for a PICTURE!
I absolutely love aquariums. Sea Life at Mall of America did not disappoint! Its not real big but thats ok. Its in a mall that has a billion other things to do so the size was just right. It was beautiful and well done. We were most fascinated by the tree frogs for some reason. The aquarium tunnel was so cool with sharks and other sea creatures swimming above you and around you. Another group of young adult visitors were ruining it for me because that part of the tour was peaceful and serene. That group was loud and intrusive. I wish the aquarium would have a no talking or low voices only in that section. Other aquariums do and they enforce it. Nevertheless, the overall experience was fantastic!!!
We went there last weekend and it was pretty fun. The best part was walking through the tunnel and seeing all the water life above you around you. The kids loved it! I think the only downside was the ending where you could touch the things in the water…. all of the starfish were on one side so none of the kids could touch them. The worker gave everyone in option to touch a dried out starfish. Just not the same. So if it’s ever possible can you add more things for the kids to touch? Otherwise it was fun 😀
Always super fun! My girlfriend and I returned after having both been last around 2015 for seperate school trips. Every exhibit was awesome, the facilities were very nice, and the guest service was excellent. Particularly, the girls working at the gift shop were very kind and patient with my wonky debit card and its issues. Would love to come back next time i’m in the area!
We drove 7 hrs to come to Sea Life and it was all and above our expectations. AMAZING! Our favorite part was the tunnel top and being able to walk through and see under all the sharks etc. The jellyfish exhibit was beautiful. We fed shrimp to the stingray and touched sea urchins and man that water was cold lol. Fun for the whole family. Well worth the drive and unlimited trips through, for the day. We got our family photo at the end.
We’ve been huge fans of Sea Life at MOA for years and just found out about the behind the scenes tour yesterday! Not only did we get to see all the amazing sea life on the main level, but we got to go upstairs and see everything from above. My kids even got to feed the turtles and fish while we learned all sorts of cool behind the scenes information from our awesome tour guide Pete! This was such a fun experience!
Amazing experience! It’s really great value and honestly one of the cleanest aquariums i have ever visited. The water is pristine, and all of the aquatic life is clearly visible. Really enjoyed the experience and would most assuredly come back again if I’m ever in Minnesota in the future.
