I photographed this couples beautiful summer wedding. We utilized all of the building and outside scenery that we could and got so many photos. I love being at Hyland Hills – the staff is so helpful and courteous and there’s lots of great photo spots!
Great skiing hill located in the metro area. They make good snow and have a lot to offer in a small area. There are beginner areas and loads of fun jumping and trick areas. Would recommend to kids and adults. The experience was fun, and we will be back…possibly get a season pass for the kids next year.

They have different hills at different levels, so everyone can enjoy it. It’s fully staffed in all areas, in case something happens or someone needs help.

Came here for a wedding. What an absolutey beautiful venue. A terrific view through the floor to ceiling windows, looking at the lovely green ski hill. The wedding was very nice. The staff did a great job of ensuring that the day went off without issue. Would definitely recommend to others.
Hyland Hills was a gorgeous venue for us to have our wedding. We got so many compliments from people of the beautiful landscape and even the building inside. Suzanne was super easy to work with as we went through the planning process. She was very knowledgable and was able to answer all of our questions!

Fun ski area for the family. I’ve been here a bunch of times. The runs are nice. Nothing really super challenging though. The lines at the lifts can get really long, and after a while you start to feel like you are almost spending more time in line than skiing. They do try to manage the lines at least. The chalet is fine. Decent amount of seating and food options. Pricey like all skiing is these days. Overall a nice local ski area.
Hyland has a great park setup. If you are riding park this is the place to go. The tow ropes will shoot you to the top real fast and you’ll be going right back down. It’s very fast paced and if you aren’t used to riding like that expect to tire quickly. They were having some troubles this afternoon keeping the tow ropes going. I did ride a chair loft once, but it had to have been the slowest moving chair I’ve ever been on. I wouldn’t recommend going there for anything other than the park riding.
