Samurai Sushi and Hibachi
The restaurant itself is clean and well-kept, and the staff are friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Oddly enough, it wasn’t busy at all during lunch, which made for a relaxed and quiet dining experience—definitely a hidden gem in that regard.
The food was fresh and flavorful, from the sushi rolls to the hibachi offerings. Everything came out quickly and was clearly made with care.
If you’re looking for good Japanese food with plenty of options and a laid-back vibe, Samurai Sushi and Hibachi is worth checking out.
The second time we ate here, it was a lot busier than the first, and we waited a bit to be seated even though we had a reservation, but it was well worth it. Our server, Lulu, was incredible. She was so friendly, courteous, and quick to understand our needs. In the sake of efficiency, she let us order a good chunk of our sushi and rolls in the first round, and it was so nice getting everything all at once. She kept our waters filled the entire time and cleared everything away immediately. She’s one of my favorite servers I’ve ever had, and I can’t wait to see her next time we’re back.
Lastly, the food. My favorite part (other than Lulu). The sushi is PERFECT. Just the right temperature. Not too warm like it’s been sitting out, not too cold like it just came out of the freezer. The rice is neat and packed, not crumbly. The yellowtail and salmon sushi, Samurai rolls, fire rolls, and gyoza are mouthwatering (*chef’s kiss*).
I have so many incredible things to say about Samurai. If you’re considering anywhere else, don’t. 😉
Nice sushi rice, really good eel, nice Sapporo beer.
Under 20 dollar for lunch.
Well highly recommended, great background music not too loud for a conversation.
We went back a 2nd time and it was still great
We went back a 3rd time and it is our favorite Sushi joint!

The service is just OK. I get that they’re busy, but we always have to wait a long time for staff or struggle looking for them.
Ps. Make sure to order a good amount of food at once, since it can take forever to flag someone down for more. Haha
