Hazelwood Food + Drink

Hazelwood was one of the standout dining experiences of our trip. The food was phenomenal from start to finish. We had the rotisserie chicken, prime rib, and salmon, and every dish delivered. The mashed potatoes were rich and comforting, and the rice that came with the salmon had the perfect balance of savory and salty. The deviled egg shrimp appetizer was a major highlight, and the deconstructed banana cream pie was hands down one of the best desserts we’ve had in a while.

Our server was fantastic, guiding us through the menu and helping us land on exactly what we wanted. The birthday dessert for our guest of honor made the night feel extra special. If there was one downside, it was the atmosphere in the bar area, which felt a little too tight and loud for the otherwise elevated feel of the meal. Still, this place really delivered on flavor and hospitality. We’d definitely come back.

Hazelwood Food and Drink is always a favorite spot for lunch or dinner. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, with a great patio area that’s perfect in the summer. It’s in a convenient location—not far from the Mall of America—and easy to find. Highly recommend for a casual meal or a night out!

I was apprehensive because of the wait for dinner without a reservation but was rewarded with an excellent meal. Our wait for two for dinner was about 35 minutes, not horrible but they were very busy. The meal was excellent the wife enjoyed the cheesecake for dessert and we both agreed the brie cheese curds were a really good take on the cheesecake curd, we like em’.

Really great food and atmosphere here! Reservations encouraged as this place gets busy. Would highly recommend a visit if your staying in Bloomington or the Twin cities area. Be sure to get the smoked Gouda hash browns and my husband loved the walleye.

What a great location and very upscale (yet casual for dress code) restaurant with great food. I was impressed by the location and views of the airport with planes landing overhead and our server was very prompt.

I enjoyed the rotisserie chicken and mashed potatoes with asparagus. The (very large) chicken meatballs was a good appetizer.

I found the food to be a bit salty but maybe I was overly sensitive?

Absolutely loved this place! Everything about it was amazing – food, ambience, and service! My table ordered the spinach artichoke dip, pizza (pep, bacon, goat cheese, jalapeño), rotisserie chicken, wings, and fries! You can tell the food is made from scratch.

Our server was kind, attentive, and helpful!

Thoroughly enjoyed dinner here on a Saturday night with friends. The place was full and yet quiet. We were attended immediately and food came promptly. We loved everything we ordered including the lobster bisque. Portions are generous. It was difficult to decide what to get with a great selection. Highly recommend.

Recommend reservations. Busy place with a good vibe and indoor and outdoor seating.
I had the ribeye steak and was underwhelmed. Overcooked and tough, it was not the steak listed in the menu. My colleague had the chicken and was impressed. Tender and delicious.
