Visited Bloomington Chophouse because they donated a gift card to a raffle for charity, and I was lucky enough to win! We came in with high expectations and they were still exceeded – the vibe was right, the staff made good recommendations, and the food was delicious! Definitely will be back again.

I met 3 people for a business meeting here and it was “fine”. I had the chophouse salad, no bacon or blue cheese. It was not entrée sized and I wish I had known that. It came out formed like it was tossed, compressed in a bowl and flipped onto the plate. Not quite the format I was expecting, but again the taste was “fine”. Wouldn’t order it again. The others had the lobster mac, chicken wings, and a BLT. I did not hear any raves or any complaints, so I assume others were fine also. Two of us finished the plate, other 2 did not.
Came in on a Wednesday evening.
Wasnt too busy.
Parking is shared with the Hilton.
Server was pleasant.
I got a petite filet. It says 8oz but felt more like a 6oz.
I also got mashed potatoes which were creamy with a little chunk.
The filet was alright, about on par with a $30 one. For $60 its overpriced.
Atmosphere was nice. And cocktails tasty.
Overall probably a good place for a business dinner.
Starter: oysters and Blue Moon. MAIN: petite filet and Pinot Noir. Dessert: Espresso Martini and Strawberry Shortcake
