5* because I was satisfied with every aspect.
The buffet breakfast was sufficient – tasty- good. Especially liked the waffles 😂
It didn’t feel perfect- aged perhaps? Just need to accept that it was a good meal with most options that I would have wanted.

The pool, it is not large, it again is sufficient.

Rooms were tidy- compliments to the cleaners 👍🏽.
Staff were friendly and helpful.
Could perhaps have a range of tea and coffee available complimentary in the room with milk available. (Along with a jug to boil water) As it is an accommodation near the airport and that is all often available in locations around the world (I came from New Zealand)
But there are drinks available from the lobby.

The room was spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was big and clean. The breakfast was nothing to write home about but it was good. There was oatmeal, scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, fruit, juice, cereal, and waffle makers. If it’s a full hotel the parking is a challenge. You will get a parking pass when you check in. The check in process was quick and easy.
Being by the airport i could hear the aircraft flying overhead. Its not horrible but I did notice it at first but I slept through it.

In order to get there, go to the ground transportation area at either terminal and then call their front desk. They’ll send a van to get you. You can schedule your ride back to the airport at the front desk, but they can fill up.

This place is a good option for long layovers. Bed was comfy and they have a bunch of toiletries you might need while travelling (which is nice if you got separated from your luggage). Staff was friendly and helpful.

Enjoyed our stay at the Hampton Inn! Nice, modern hotel that is super close to the Mall of America, about a 3 min. drive. Right across from the airport too. One of the cleanest hotel rooms we’ve ever stayed in, & pretty spacious for a Double Queen room. Nice bathroom & shower, & even a few towel hooks in the bathroom (which isn’t always the case). A nice touch was 3 hooks in the main room, which was helpful, especially when traveling with more than 2 people. Pool area looked okay, no hot tub though. Clean hallways & quick elevators. Very nice breakfast area, with quite a few options. Loved that there was oatmeal & yogurt, am sure I’m not the only one who tries to stay “regular” when traveling!:) 2 complaints – the fan in the room was really loud & there were a lack of parking spaces available when we came back past 9 pm. Also, for all hotels in general, please have a fan & some kind of light dimmer switch in the bathroom!!! I guess it’s up to the traveler to bring a nightlight though, so that’s on us. Overall, very nice & nice staff too!

Clean hotel. Alec at the front desk was so kind and considerate of our needs. Always had a smile on his face. Our deluxe suite was awesome! My family loved all of it. Breakfast area was good size. Decent price! We will be staying again in the future!

Staff was extremely kind when checking in. Location is very convenient. Rooms were clean and inviting. Did notice odd bubbling in carpet in hallway outside of room. Unfortunately the pull out sofa mattress is so thin you couldn’t sleep on it and beds are quite hard and the pillows are paper thin as well.
