Industry Recognition and Memberships

Bloomington Minnesota Travel & Tourism received the Destination Marketing Accreditation Program (DMAP) designation by Destinations International in 2024, after first being accredited in 2013. The DMAP designation recognizes our organization’s commitment to industry excellence and meeting the industry standard for performance and accountability of destination organizations around the world.

BMTT also maintains memberships with other industry organizations, including Brand USA, U.S. Travel Association, Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA), Meeting Professionals International (MPI), and American Society of Association Executives (ASAE). We support our statewide destination marketing organization, Explore Minnesota, with its mission to promote travel to the state of Minnesota.
