CoComelon Playdate
Attractions
Star Express: All aboard! The Star Express mini train is now boarding at Mall of America. Take a ten-minute ride through MOA’s North Atrium and Nickelodeon Universe during this family-friendly ride.
Relaxing Healthy Center: A brand-new spa in East Bloomington, Relaxing Healthy Center practices the art of traditional Chinese medicine through specialized saunas, a hot tub, steam room, and massage.
CoComelon Playdate: This 4,000-square-foot attraction on Level 3 of Mall of America is a must-visit for fans of the popular children’s TV show CoComelon. Open play zones and imaginative play buildings let little ones explore and learn in a safe indoor playground just for them.
Activate: Jump, climb, play sports and have a blast with friends in over a dozen game rooms at the world’s first active gaming facility, recently opened at Mall of America.
Restaurants
Hong Kong Noodles: This Cantonese noodle shop recently relocated to east Bloomington. With an endless menu featuring everything from congee to fried rice and Dim Sum specials on the weekend, Hong Kong Noodles has something for every Chinese food lover.
Macarons by Maddie Lu: After a brief hiatus away from Mall of America, Macarons by Maddie Lu is back open on Level 3, West! Maddie’s hand-crafted macarons are served alongside servings of the latest trend to hit MOA: dirty soda, a soft drink mixed with creamer, syrup, and other flavors.
Gyropolis: This fast-casual spot has been a Bloomington favorite for many years, and recently underwent a complete remodel to make their restaurant bigger and more accessible for guests. There’s now a drive-thru for online orders and a bigger kitchen and seating area to enjoy those delicious gyros and Greek salads.
Sweet Paris Creperie and Cafe
Mr. Waffle Dessert: Located at Mall of America, Mr. Waffle serves bubble waffles and taiyaki (Japanese fish-shaped cakes) topped with ice cream and fruit.
Sweet Paris Creperie & Café: This cozy restaurant will make you feel like you’ve been transported to a French café, with Parisian-inspired décor and a delicious menu of crepes, waffles, and salads, plus beer and wine.
Perk Up Kitchen: When it comes to breakfast and lunch, Perk Up has you covered! Their menu includes sweet and savory dishes including frittatas, breakfast “charcuterie”, sammies and salads, and more.
Smokestack Express
Smokestack Express: Bloomington residents and visitors are thrilled to have an option for delicious barbecue so close by. Side dishes like mac and cheese and baked beans are nearly as tasty as Smokestack’s smoked pork, chicken, and beef.
Shopping
Grandpa Joe’s: At Grandpa Joe’s world-famous $5 candy buffet, you can fill up a box with candy from bulk candy bins for only $5! Plus, there’s soft serve ice cream, craft sodas, and an amazing selection of novelty candy and treats from around the world.
Chubbies: Have the men in your life been rocking short shorts? You may have Chubbies to blame – their 4” and 5.5” inseam shorts come in varieties from bold to neutral. The menswear brand now sells polos, pants, and swimwear too.
