The two-day City of Lakes Loppet is a staple of winter in Minneapolis, with competitive and recreational winter sports races and unique outdoor events. The festive includes a variety of cross-country ski, fat bike, skijor, and snowshoe events, both competitive races and recreational touring events through Theodore Wirth Park; and a number of unique events, such as the Kubb Tournament.
