Stopped in after reading a few reviews and was super impressed! It’s a small totally cute Japanese style pub with so much fun decor! I got the chicken karage curry with some garlic edamame and left feeling super satisfied. I will be back!
Ramen did felt authentic and yummy, however lacks experience, the miso broth is not strong and layered. Noodles are thin and do have a chance to improve. The menu options were great. And overall it’s a must try!! Around 15-20$ per person if you are sharing. The food felt fresh.
I got the Yasai (Vegetarian option) with the spice on the side. Without the spice the broth felt very lacking while the actual ramen and other ingredients was good. After adding the spice it was a bit better but was not up to expectations.
Will admit I am glad they offer vegen options and was glad to try it.
As someone who stayed in Japan for almost 5 years, if you want to try Ramen from Japan this is the spot. We lived in Kanagawa so great to see the city signs across the building as you eat. The taste is amazing and it makes me feel at home. Don’t miss the actual taste of Japan in the US!
The vibes are immaculate. The food was amazing! We got the classic tonkotsu, chicken karaage, and pork karaage. I loved the chicken karaage, the chicken was so juicy and the curry was delicious. Will definitely be coming back!
No picture of the takoyaki because I tore it to shreds. The Tonkatsu broth was perfectly creamy and well seasoned. The noodles were also perfectly cooked. It does get pretty busy and the place is small so be prepared to have a shared eating space. Great choice of Japanese drinks as well! Will be coming back!!
There were plenty of amenities and the food was very flavorful. We got take out and the cutlery and supplies were great.
Pan seared pork gyoza is very tasty, super juicy and flavorful. The dipping sauce is lightly sweet and not over powering. The pork chashu buns was soft and tender but over powered by the sauce. Classic tonkatsu broth is light and flavorful. Spicy miso has a good kick but mellows out quickly enough. The ramen was well cooked, nice spring in it. The pork in the ramen is not as tender as the one in the bun somehow.
