Learn about mid-century America during this special day of demonstrations and programming. Visitors will discover how today's political issues relate back to the decades surrounding the year 1900.

At 1:00 P.M., Dr Daniel Immerwahr of Northwestern University will give a presentation about his latest book, How to Hide an Empire: A History of the Greater United States. Dr. Immerwahr's book examines how the United States exercised power on the world stage during the late 19th and early 20th century.
