Great River Greening is organizing a restoration project in a six-acre area along the Minnesota River. The densely wooded site has been dominated by invasive plants in recent years, and the organization is seeking volunteers to cut and haul buckthorn and invasive honeysuckle and pull garlic mustard to improve the vegetation for local wildlife and mitigate soil erosion on steep slopes.

All ages are welcome, but children must be supervised. Pre-registration required.
