The Klondike Dog Derby is reintroducing the sport of dog sled racing to Lake Minnetonka! The 8-dog, 40-mile race will begin and end at Excelsior's historic Water Street and run along the shores of Minnetonka. Spectators are invited to watch the race and attend race weekend events including Hug-A-Husky, food trucks and campfires at the Bridgewater Bank Chalet, and more.
