Gudrun Sjödén—A Colourful Universe celebrates Gudrun Sjödén, the renowned Swedish textile designer and global entrepreneurial force, in a visually striking new exhibition at the American Swedish Institute. The installation examines her illustrious career of through original watercolors, materials from the artist’s archives and catalogs, displays of her textiles and boldly feminine apparel collections and a pop-up shop of her clothing.

A First Look party on Thursday, July 26 will showcase the exhibit with an outdoor fashion show and live choir.
