The inaugural Lake Minnetonka BBQ and Beer Fest will pit 36 teams of professional pitmasters against each other for bragging rights and prize money. The Grand Champion will be invited to the 2017 American Royal World Series of Barbeque Invitational in Kansas City, MO.

The barbecue competition begins at 10 AM, and drink and food vendors, demos, and expos will be open from 12 PM-8 PM. A ticketed beer fest featuring breweries such as Indeed Brewing Company, Bent Paddle Brewing Company, and Sociable Cider Werks wll run from 3 PM-6 PM. Be sure to check out the free music and BBQ awards ceremony!
