The annual Japanese Lantern Lighting Festival is a family-friendly celebration of Japanese culture. Bonsai, martial arts, singing, dancing, drumming, and delicious food will take place on the grounds of the Marjorie McNeely Conservatory in Como Park. The festival culminates at dusk with the main event — the lantern lighting. Six stone lanterns and floating paper lanterns will float throughout the Japanese garden pond and the Frog Pond.
