Kennedy High School Main Gym
The Main Gym encompasses 18,000 square feet (with bleachers pushed in). Solid, folding walls can be used to delineate 3-courts. Wooden bleachers pull out from the wall in Gyms A and C, providing seating for 1,900 people, while Gym B offers a varsity court. Quality features include hardwood floors, two electronic scoreboards, a PA system, and boys and girls locker rooms. The Main Gym has been the site of Minnesota State High School League regional wrestling competitions and is the home of the Kennedy Eagles.
Kennedy High School Activity Center
KAC is nearly identical to the Jefferson Activity Center and makes an ideal site for athletic tournaments. It features five basketball/volleyball courts separated by vinyl and mesh curtains. Each court has its own LED electronic scoreboard and bleacher/chair seating for approximately 60 people. All courts have spring-loaded hardwood maple floors. Adjacent to the courts is the large Team Room that can function as tournament headquarters, trainer's room, or a referee hospitality site. Concession sales can be conveniently located in the school store in the hallway just outside the courts. In combination with the Main Gym, the facility has a total of eight basketball/volleyball courts.
