November 23 - December 23, 2012 (Thursday - Sunday)
The Holidazzle Parade has been a holiday tradition in the Twin Cities since 1992. With its floats, choirs, marching bands and storybook characters like Hansel and Gretel and the Wizard of Oz, the annual Holidazzle Parade encourages spectators to bundle up in warm winter clothing and head to downtown Minneapolis for an evening of holiday fun. Some parade-goers even find the Holidazzle Parade romantic. At least one couple has been married at the Holidazzle Parade, while several others have gotten engaged during the annual holiday celebration.
Holidazzle Parade Location
The parade route runs along Nicollet Mall, a street in downtown Minneapolis. Most spectators enjoy watching the Holidazzle Parade between 7th and 9th streets. A VIP grandstand offers covered, heated seating at 12th Street and Nicollet Mall.
