Minnesota Wineries & Minnesota Vineyards in the Bloomington Area

Just miles from Bloomington are several of the best Minnesota wineries, where you can experience the art of wine making.

Visit Alexis Bailey Vineyard, a family-owned vineyard, with more than 30 years of wine making experience. The Alexis Bailey Vineyard offers wine tastings year round and offers a picnic area with bocce ball courts and patio overlooking the vineyard.

You can also treat your taste buds at the Cannon River Winery, located in downtown Cannon Falls. Take a tour of the vineyard and sample wines for just $5.

Be sure to check out the St. Croix Vineyard outside of St. Paul, Northern Vineyards Winery in Stillwater, Falconer Vineyards Winery and Carlos Creek Winery.

Minnesota Apple Orchards

For all things apple, visit Aamodt’s Apple Farm where you can pick up a warm apple pie, apple cider, apple oatmeal cookies and more apple treats. During the fall, this apple farm is home to popular events like the Grape Stomp, Honeycrisp Festival, Hot Air Balloon Festival and Apple Harvest Festival.

For a fun family outing, visit Emma Krumbee’s Orchard & Farm. You and your bunch can ride on tractor-pulled wagons on a tour of the orchard to find the perfect apple! After apple picking, stop in to the bakery or restaurant for a meal that serves the freshest fruits and vegetables. Stop by the general store for a souvenir or snacks to take home!

From July to September, enjoy the Minnesota Harvest Apple Orchard where you and your family can enjoy guided horseback rides, petting zoo, corn maze and all you can eat barbecue buffet. And don’t forget to pick some apples for your trip home!
