MACALESTER. Located in a quaint residential part of town, this edition of the popular Midwestern chain is attached to the brewery around the corner. And for good reason, too Green Mill Brewing Company provides great-tasting brews. The restaurant itself has garnered praise for awesome hand-tossed and deep-dish wood-fired pizzas. Plus, a decent "pub-grub" menu includes pastas, chicken wings, sandwiches, and a few salads. Since pizzas are made from scratch, plan for lunch to last more than an hour.
