Target Field
Scheduled to open in 2010, Target Field will be the new home ballpark for the Minnesota Twins. The building will use tons of local limestone, and Minnesota fir trees will be planted outside the field. Modern features of this new stadium will include heated viewing areas, a full roof canopy, a 101-foot high definition scoreboard and a pedestrian bridge that will connect Target Field to downtown Minneapolis. There will also be a connection to the Hiawatha Light Rail System. This multi-million dollar venture will revolutionize baseball in Minneapolis.
