  Foshay Tower

However, the tower, built in 1929, was the tallest building in Minneapolis until 1971, when it was eclipsed by the 775-foot IDS Tower.   Hiawatha is an 18-hole regulation golf course, par 73. It is a long course, generally flat with mature trees and small greens. Two fairways and four tees border Lake Hiawatha.
