| Minnesota History Center
The Minnesota History Center preserves and promotes Minnesota history through historical exhibits, a research library and educational programs. A welcome destination for genealogists researching their Minnesota roots, the library at the Minnesota History Center offers convenient access to the collections of the Minnesota Historical Society. The two museum stores at the Minnesota History Center the Heritage Store and the Adventure Store encourage children and adults alike to learn more about Minnesota history through regional history books, Indian arts and crafts, games and other items available for purchase. For those with an appreciation for "living Minnesota history," the Minnesota History Center presents plays and performances illustrating Minnesota's colorful past. Visitors wanting a little pick-me-up during their outing to the Minnesota History Center may enjoy refreshments at Café Minnesota, which also offers a wireless Internet connection. Located in downtown St. Paul, the Minnesota History Center is housed in a building whose architecture is as noteworthy as its contents.
Minnesota History Center Hours Tuesday: 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Wednesday-Saturday: 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday: 12 noon-5 p.m. Monday: Open 10 a.m.-5 p.m. from Memorial Day till Labor Day Holiday hours may apply.
Minnesota History Library Hours Tuesday: 12 noon-8 p.m. Wednesday-Friday: 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday: 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
