Hyland Ski & Snowboard Area is part of the Three Rivers Park District within the 1,000-acre Hyland Park Reserve, just minutes from the Mall of America. Known for its snowmaking and grooming, Hyland Ski & Snowboard Area is a welcome wintertime retreat for downhill skiing, cross-country skiing and snowboarding.

Trails at Hyland Ski & Snowboard Area range from easy to difficult to freestyle terrain. Skiing and snowboarding lessons and programs are available for Hyland visitors of all skill levels, whether they're beginners or experts.

The chalet complex at Hyland Ski & Snowboard Area offers a food court, seating, equipment, rentals and lockers. During the warmer months, outdoor enthusiasts may wish to visit the Hyland Ski and Snowboard Area Chalet Drive Golf & Practice Center, which includes a driving range, putting green and other practice facilities.

*Closed on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. Open from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Christmas Eve.
